As the Friday Night League ends, Evil Geniuses pocketed another win, while Team Liquid got crushed by FlyQuest. Week 6 of the League of Legends Championship Series resume this afternoon — follow the action right here!

League of Legends fans, the time has come!

The Mid-Season is coming to an end, and the ten League of Legends Championship Series teams had enough time to prepare, lick their wounds and get ready for the final lap.

At the outcome of this 2020 Summer Split, three teams will receive the honor to represent the LCS at the League of Legends Worlds Championship — but who will it be?!

Cloud9 dominated the Spring Split and almost achieved a perfect run that was only spoiled by one defeat. They then proceeded to stomp over Playoffs, eventually raising the cup with only one match conceded.

They’re without a doubt the big favorites of this Summer Split, but we should also count on Team SoloMid as the team reunited Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng and Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg in a roster that definitely looks like their 2017 powerhouse line-up.

With the departure of their veteran ADC following one of the worst split in their history, Team Liquid have everything to prove. The fallen champions might be able to rely on Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen and their newly appointed ADC Edward “Tactical” Ra to prevail, but their journey into the Summer Split will certainly be paved with blood and tears.

Evil Geniuses, 100 Thieves, and FlyQuest chased Cloud9 during the entire Spring Split, and certainly proved they were among the best LCS teams.

The Thieves made no changes to their roster, while FlyQuest only changed their toplaner whose identity is still unknown. That’s a bit different for Evil Geniuses as the organization recruited Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon to share the toplaner spot with Colin “Kumo” Zhao.

Golden Guardians, Dignitas, Immortals, and Counter Logic Gaming struggled during spring, and it’s hard to imagine them thriving during summer — but who knows?

Which team will have what it takes to raise the LCS trophy and book their tickets for Worlds?!
