The long awaited rework of one of the oldest League of Legends champions, Irelia, hits the live servers. While the original post jokingly suggests this is a nerf to her, we all well know how League’s reworks turn out (I’m looking at you Swain).
Another big change coming to this patch is the nerf of Ninja Tabi, the current most favorite pair of boots of the ADC. The 10 points of armor reduction, which until now was the biggest counter to lethality items, will welcome the assassins back into the meta. To make it even worse for the squishy champions, some of the assassins (including Nocturne, Zed, Kayn) gained an increased damage in their kit.
Finally, this patch introduced changes to most jungle champions, which will result in some shift in the current meta.
