Riot Games has announced that they will be taking a week-long break in order to rest and recuperate. On the announcement on their website they said:

Riot’s taking the week of July 4th off to rest, recharge, and stretch our wrists. This will be our third year taking a summer break so we’re getting the drill down now. Patch timelines may shift to accommodate the change, and, if so, individual game teams will send out the specifics. In the meantime, some teams like our live operations, anticheat, and security teams will be staggering their breaks to make sure everything keeps running smoothly throughout the break. Knowing Rioters, you’ll probably see more of us spending this week on the Rift, figuring out the angles on Pearl, and searching for the perfect Dragon to round out our comps.

In addition to the break, the Public Beta Environment maintenance will also be paused. Here is what Amy_Sery from the moderator team had to say on Reddit:

Hello everyone,

Riot Games has announced that they’re taking a break for a week in week 27.

A quick overview of what this means:

* Riot(ers) will have their break from July 4th until and through July 10th.
* There will be NO PBE maintenances during this period!
* The 12.13 cycle is CLOSED. No more bugs and feedback will be considered. It’s fully ready to hit Live on July 13!
  • As such, we will remove any new posts regarding skin feedback. Please comment your feedback through Live channels (Riot Support, twitter, r/leagueoflegends) after the content goes to Live. Riot will unfortunately not read it on LeaguePBE anymore.

(As an extension of the last bullet point: keep in mind that although the cycle is here for 3 weeks, there’s only 2 weeks in which testing goes on, just like the other cycles. This testing cycle isn’t longer than any others. The 3rd week is just there so Riot can take a breather)

Feel free to ask questions below! But please keep in mind not to post any bugs/feedback in here, there are Megathreads for that. This is a moderator announcement; we cannot help you forwarding your feedback 😡

Irrelevant answers will be promptly removed.

See you with the start of 12.14 around July 12th!
