Who Are The Teams Competing in the LEC 2022 Summer?

League of Legends European Championship Summer 2022 is the 8th European League of Legends split under the LEC banner, 10 European teams compete for the LEC title. With the LEC 2022 Summer season almost meeting its halfway mark, it’s time to take a look at the teams that are competing. This year’s season is shaping up to be one of the most competitive and unpredictable in recent memory, with a number of strong teams looking to make a run at the title. Here’s a look at some of the teams that will are competing in the LEC this summer. Who is your favorite?

Astralis

Astralis is a Danish professional esports organization, currently competing in the League of Legends European Championship. The team was founded in 2016 by Danish players Henrik “FeTiSh” Christensen and Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye, and soon began competing in international tournaments. Astralis is one of the most successful teams in the world, with a number of championship wins in a variety of games.

The team’s League of Legends roster has hosted some of the best players in Europe, including top laner Martin “Wunder” Hansen and mid laner Rasmus “Caps” Winther. The Excel Esports League of Legends roster currently consists of Finn, Markoon, Nukeduck, Patrik, and Mikyx. G2 Esports is a professional League of Legends gaming organization based in Europe. The team was founded in October 2013 by former Fnatic players Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez and Jakob “YellOwStaR” Mebdi. The team is made up of some of the most talented players in Europe, including Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen and Rasmus “Caps” Winther. The team has had some success in the past, but is looking to take things to the next level in the LEC 2022 Summer tournament.

MAD Lions will be competing against some of the best teams in Europe, including Fnatic and Origen. It’s going to be a tough competition, but the team is up for the challenge. Fans can expect some exciting games from MAD Lions this summer!

The MAD Lions League of Legends roster currently consists of Armut, Elyoya, Nisqy, UNF0RGIVEN, and Kaiser. The team has had a relatively good season so far. They are currently sitting at 4th place on the ladder. MAD Lions is definitely a team to watch out for because they are one that could be a black horse in the LEC!

Misfits Gaming

Misfits Gaming is one of the teams competing in the LEC 2022 Summer. The team was founded in 2014 by Ben Spoont and has since grown to be one of the most successful esports organizations in the world. They are best known for their success in League of Legends, but they also have teams competing in games such as Fortnite, Rocket League, and CS:GO.

Misfits Gaming is a well-funded organization, and they have been able to achieve a lot of success thanks to their strong financial backing. Rogue is made up of five talented players. They are: Odoamne, Malrang, Larssen, Comp, and Trymbi.

SK Gaming

SK Gaming is a professional gaming organization based in Germany. The organization was founded in 1997 by brothers Ralf and Stefan Reichert. SK Gaming has teams competing in many different esports titles, including League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Fortnite.

The SK Gaming League of Legends team is one of the most successful in the world. The team has won multiple world championships, including the Riot World Championships in 2015 and the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational in 2017. The team is currently ranked #3 in the world by lolesports.

The SK Gaming League of Legends roster for the 2022 season includes JNX, Gilius, Sertuss, Jezu, and Treatz.

Team BDS

Team BDS is a League of Legends gaming organization that was founded in 2014. The team is based in Brazil and competes in the Latin American LCS. The team has had some success in the past, but has fallen on hard times recently. In 2020, the team finished in last place in the LCS and was relegated to the League of Legends Challenger Series. They are one of the most successful teams in Europe, coming 3rd in the LEC in both 2020 and 2021. Their players are some of the best in the world, and they continue to compete at the highest level. In the LEC 2022 Summer, they will be looking to reach the playoffs and cement their place as one of the best teams in the world. Their current roster is: Alphari, Haru, Perkz, Carzzy, and Labrov.
